I'm impressed that the Elementals seem to have
gotten so many interesting cards in Lorwyn and
Morningtide. Walker of the Grove is effectively
a modal creature spell, which is quite rare
outside of weird, awkward cases like Krakilin or
Primal Clay. And it's excellent with
Pandemonium.

Walker of the
Grove
I think the best use for this is to get it out
with Incandescent Soulstroke then proceed to
swing for 7 damage while getting a 4/4 out of
it. But it's a bad thing how Incandescent
Soulstroke is so fragile for its cost and so
this card's use in constructed will be very low.
In casual, it's a decent elemental to use, so
use it if you can find a way.
In limited, it's a 4/4 for 5 mana in mid game,
which isn't bad, and a 7/7 for 8 mana in the
late game. It probably won't die so you'll never
get the 4/4 out of it though. In all likelihood
it'll be blocked by a regenerator or get hit by
a Lignify.

In constructed, green has many better options
than this. However, this has some combo
potential with Cream of the Crop and Enduring
Renewal. With the Crop, you get to look through
seven cards for the Walker and another four
cards for the token. With the Renewal, you can
make an endless supply of tokens. In limited,
this can easily make the cut.
