A 3/3 for 3 is always worth
looking at in Limited. The fact that it
has haste and wither makes it doubly worth
consideration. But to play it, you pretty
much need to be either mono-red, mono-green, or
red/green. If you're playing other colors,
it may not come out reliably enough.

Further proof that hybrid cards are allowed to
be ridiculously over the curve, for some reason.
The Ram-Gang is the best aggressive three-cost
creature in Standard right now - its wither
ability laughs at Troll Ascetics and Phyrexian
Ironfoots and Walls of Roots. The only wrinkle
is that mono-green probably has to choose only
one of this or Groundbreaker.

Not too often do I give a card such great merits
but this thing is just plain fantastic. A must
get 4 of uncommon. 3/3s for 3 have often seen
play. 3/3s with haste have seen play in
constructed. 3/3s with haste that will weaken,
if not kill, whatever blocks it is just plain
old fantastic. Expect 4 of these in ever
constructed red aggro deck to come.

3 mana 3/3 haste and wither? That's just really
efficient. It's hybrid mana cost is also makes
it really easy to cast. It's not absolutely
broken, which means no 4 or 5 out of 5 points,
OK, maybe not that much,
but I like this card a lot. It has two
useful abilities on a 3/3 body for only 3 mana.
If you are playing Red/Green, this guy is a must
hae stud. And it can even cripple larger
creatures with its Wither effect. There
probably isn't a lot to say about this card that
isn't obvious, so I'll simply say this guy is
good.
This little Goblin Warrior gets it done. This
card is an excellent example of why I love
hybrid mana symbols. This creature is perfectly
suited for red and green, and if you are willing
to include this card in a deck focused on red
and green, you are rewarded with a very cheap
and effective creature for the mana. In a
red/green deck, this card is, in effect, a 3/3
hasty attacker with an enhanced damage ability
(Wither) for just three mana. In a red/green
deck, almost every one of your lands makes
either red or green, making this card neither a
GGG or a RRR casting cost. Cards like this are
evidence that Shadowmoor limited really rewards
players who recognize exactly how much “color
matters.” In constructed, I could sort of
imagine this guy in a mono red or aggressive
red/green build, but just barely. I think there
are a lot of other creatures that such a
constructed deck would consider before the
Ram-Gang. On the other hand, this dude is a
Goblin, which makes him a candidate for nearly
mono red Goblin decks as well.

Above average card in
constructed. It might make the cut in R/G Beats,
competing against Countryside Crusher and Flame
Javelin in the three slot. It gets even better
in limited, where it functions as a situational
removal spell as well.
