Unfortunately, this card doesn't really have a
place in most decks I can dream up, unless they
revolve around making your opponent's creatures
really strong and then destroying them.
(Actually, now I think about it, that might be
pretty funny...) Until then, this card will
probably have to stay in everyone's "Trade
Binder o' Cool Art."
I'd like to know why this card wasn't in Planar
Chaos, as it's functionally identical to the
Limited Edition's Creature Bond except that it's
black.

Banewasp Affliction
Constructed:
Needs creature kill to be of any use. Not seeing
it happen in any competive format.
Casual:
Nice card to play around with. But it takes a
lot of work to get the best result with it. You
have to wait for their big creature and then
have a way of killing it.
Limited:
Would not pick this card, maybe if it was the
only black card and the others were not as
great.
Overall, not the badest card in Shards, but it
is at the bottom of the list. Use it for the fun
effect.

Banewasp Affliction Enchantment - Aura Enchant creature
When enchanted creature is put into a graveyard,
that creature's controller loses life equal to
its toughness.
Terrible. A) If your in black you have better
ways of making your opponent lose life. B) If
your opponent is winning when you play this its
not going to help you get back in the game C) If
your winning its a just a win-more card
