A really, really good card for white weenie. On
the draw, you drop this on turn three before you
play your land and then you get a free Plains,
then drop land number four and play another two
mana guy (or a few one mana guys). Once he's
done his job, he becomes a 2/2 first striker
that will help you win the game faster. There's
really not much more to be said; I expect this
card to see a lot of play in white weenie decks
for the next two years.
In limited, you need to be playing a pretty big
white component. If you are, I'd play him; even
without the land search, a 2/2 first striker for
2 is still quite good.

Knight of the White Orchid
In the old days of Land Tax, I used to see
people hold lands for as many as three turns to
try and prevent the Tax player from accumulating
massive card advantage. Knight of the White
Orchid is only a one-time effect and it's much
smaller than even one use of Land Tax, but it
gives you a 2/2 creature, which I consider well
worth it. I expect this card to become quite
popular in various kinds of white decks.

Knight of the White Orchard
I really think this is one of the best creatures
of the set. It has an existing place in almost
any aggro white deck and may even have a place
in control. Just remember not to play your land
before playing this guy. Many old weenie decks
loved Tithe or similar spells. This is built in
and it has first strike. Great in all formats

Knight of the White Orchid
Constructed:
It is a land tax with power and toughness. Good
for thinning your deck out, but after you play
your first one the other 3 will become just
another 2/2 for 2 white with first strike. This
fits perfectly for a white wennie deck in
Standard, especially with first strike.
Casual:
Most use the pro colors Knights. Might be
popular with some kitchen table folks.
Limited:
Very good solid 2 drop. Will use it even if I am
splashing white. Draft not a top pick, but if it
was in the first pack I would take him 9 out 10
times.
Overall a good Knight for white wennies. Drop
him out on your third turn before you play your
land and play a Sigiled Paladin with your
Akrasan Swuire waiting from the first turn to
attack for three.

Knight of the
White Orchid Creature - Human Knight First strike
When Knight of the White Orchid comes into play,
if an opponent controls more lands than you, you
may search your library for a Plains card, put
it into play, then shuffle your library.
2/2
The ONLY thing that holds this card back is that
it isn't a Kithkin. I doubt that is going to
stop it to much however. This basically negates
going second, play it on the third turn and
you've got your 4th land and can even lay
another 2 drop. Add on first strike and you've
got an excellent beater. Not only that but if
you miss your third land drop this also negates
that. Also in extended this can grab shocklands,
just something to remember.
In limited its not so great as it demands a
heavy white commitment to get full use of.
