It doesn't look like a good year to be a deck
that wants to attack. I've never seen so many
creatures with power equal to their mana cost in
one set, much less ones that make their
controller able to block three creatures the
next turn! The only consolation is that the
Thrinax is still somewhat hard to play alongside
other killjoys like Kitchen Finks and Troll
Ascetic (but why did you have to come back now,
Reflecting Pool!).

Sprouting Thrinax
Well. Gargadon once again has found a best
friend. I only wish it was a goblin. For a mere
3 mana investment you get a 3/3 that keeps on
giving. Even without Gargadon this guy has real
potential. I can't see a reason why you would
not put it into a deck with these three colors.
In multiplayer, I really like this guy. A solid
investment.
