I don't really see a point in playing
this...unless you're playing some sort of
acceleration, you can't get this out until turn
5 unless you want it to be rather small, and
there are way better things red can do on turn 5
than drop this. If you do somehow accelerate to
five mana on turn four, then play a cheap burn
spell followed by this, it still isn't really
worth it. I don't see this fitting into any sort
of deck in constructed or in limited.

Hotheaded Giant
This is another of those cards that's not
exactly terrible, but doesn't do anything that
you're likely to need in constructed decks. At
least there are a lot of cheap red spells that
can combine with it. Play this guy in limited if
you have a lot of red in your deck; there you
often won't mind waiting until the fifth or
sixth turn for a 4/4 creature.

Hotheaded Giant
Constructed:
4/4 Haste for 4 is okay, but it is actually a
2/2 because it comes with 2 -1/-1 counters on
it. I would be surprise to see it in any standard
or block deck.
Casual:
To small for it's cost. Not very exciting.
Limited:
It could be used if you are drafting cheap red
spells to play before you play him. A lot to
think about.
Overall it one of those commons that will set
around in the storage boxes. I like the
creatures
with the -1/-1 counters on them, because there
are ways to abuse them.

Creature - Giant Warrior
Hotheaded Giant comes into play with two -1/-1
counters on it unless you played another red
spell this turn.
4/4
Not bad. Shock them on turn 5 and then beat for
another 4. However not great either. The need to
play another red spell negates the low cost, and
factoring in that additional cost its becomes
mediocre. However EVE did offer was to play
around with -1/-1 counters so that could work in
limited, however its just not good enough to see
play in constructed.
