This card exists for casual
play.It IS casual play.Constructed, it's too slow.Limited, it's too green-- it commits you
too heavily to a color you may not have a deep
enough pool in to play. But the hint of how big this thing could
get is enough to cloud men's minds.

Primalcrux
Did you notice that a lot of recent cards
similar to Primalcrux didn't have trample, even
though it's supposed to be a primarily green
ability? That always bothered me. With a mana
cost like that, you'll probably never see this
thing at the top tables at the Pro Tour, but the
casual tables will learn to fear him courtesy of
Priest of Titania, Devoted Druid, Shizuko,
Caller of Autumn, and Rites of Flourishing. Just
watch out for Condemn!

Trample Chroma
- Primalcrux's power and toughness are each
equal to the number of green mana symbols in the
mana costs of permanents you control.
*/*
Constructed - This could be an interesting
metagame choice. alot of the removal is
currently toughness based (Firespout, Nameless
Inversion etc), this is going to have a pretty
big P/T when you bring it out 6/6 at least.
However the mana cost is highly restrictive (prehaps
not with standards manabases) and doesnt really
warrant a slot, although if mono-G aggro makes a
comeback expect to see this in there.
Casual - It's big and smashes face what more do
you need? Timmy all the way.
Limited - Interesting here. You try to play a
monogreen deck (remember this counts hybrid mana
costs) but your probably going to end up with a
subpar deckbased around 1 card, definatly not
optimal
Constructed - 2.5/5
Casual - 3.5/5
Limited - 3/5
On a side note I really hate the chroma keyword.
Sweep was tolerable (barely) but with chroma its
refering to different things all the imte (your
permenants, your graveyard, your opponents
permenant, your hand etc) that I feel it didnt
really warrant its inclusion

Primalcrux
Constructed: It is at least a 6/6 for
six mana. It would be nice to see a mono green
deck again. With the new standard green still
has some powerhouses in 10ed and Lorwyn block.
Casual: Green stompy decks are
always looking for new dudes that can get really
big and have trample.
Limited: Used with a lot of small
dudes he becomes a force to be reckon with. They
need alot of creatures to take him down or
direct removel, or Snakeform ha.
Overall a good card. It is amazing how these really
big a-- creatures can be taken down by a simple
Terror.
