Take one Basking Rootwalla, subtract madness,
but add wither and tribal interactions; bake for
two hours at 250 degrees. I'm a fan of this
card, as it provides a pretty significant clock
but with an incentive not to block it, which the
Rootwalla and even Wild Mongrel didn't really
have. Should a mono-green aggro deck emerge (not
a given, seeing as Wizards has decided that we
must all play three-color decks in Standard for
another two years with Alara), this card could
play a role, probably along with Nettle Sentinel
and Wren's Run Vanquisher.

Twinblade Slasher
Constructed:
If it did not have Wither I would not give this
Elf any high marks. First turn drop, second turn
swing for 3, anything that gets in the way get
Wither down. I am surprise it is not being used
more in Elf decks.
Casual:
Another sticking Elf for the Elf decks of doom.
Limited:
If I was going green I would pick this one.
Being uncommon I would not expect to see extras
come around.
Overall a good Elf. I have not really seen a Elf
I did not like or hate to play against.

Have a great weekend.

Twinblade Slasher
Wither (This deals damage to creatures in the
form of -1/-1 counters.)
:
Twinblade Slasher gets +2/+2 until end of turn.
Play this ability only once each turn.
1/1
Constructed - No real reason to run this, if
your running elves just run Vanquisher for a
constant 3/3 and deathtouch.
1/5
Limited - Nice here, you can beat someone at
elast once is going to forget about his pump
ability during combat. Otherwise its still a
nice beater than, if things get bad, you can
weaken your opponents beater
