A 1/1 on turn one, that becomes a 2/2 on turn
two, into a 4/4 turn three? And then later maybe
an 8/8 first strike flyer? This card has all the
flexibility of an X spell with the added bonus
of allowing you to play most of the X later,
instead of holding onto it in your hand for when
you get that one big turn. And between Profane
Command, Fireball, and Maga, Traitor to Mortals,
we all know what X spells are capable of.

Wednesday - Figure of Destiny
One of the best white weenie cards to come out
in recent memory. He's essentially a 2/2, and he
only gets bigger after that. You do have to pay
to make him stronger, but a deck that wants to
use this should never need to go past the 4/4
version. If you pump him all the way up to 8/8
flying, you'll probably win the game, but any
deck using this will never have enough spare
mana to bother with that, because they'll either
be dead or have won the game by then.
Solid in limited as well. He gives you something
to do with your excess mana, and ultimately
gives you a win condition.

Another card I had pick higher. This little guy
is the great example of the little engine that
could. I only have one right now, but when he
comes out he gets all of the attention. To see
the other players panick when he hits the table.
Sure am glad he does not have Shroud. Limited a
real good creature to pick up for and early or
late drop. One day I will get a full set and see
what will happen.

Hands up everyone who though this said 'until
end of turn' when they first read the spoilers.
Then everyone realized this card was actually
extremely good. Allows you to be attacking with
a 2/2 on turn 2, not bad at all. It also allows
aggro to keep using its mana effectively in the
later game when it may be running out of gas.
Add in the hybrid costs and this becomes super.
Fits in limited decks as an easrly and late game
threat, fits in casual tribal decks and in
competitive aggro decks. All around great card
