In an Esper-heavy deck, this will almost always
be a 2/2 for W by the time you can attack with
it. The problem is that Esper isn't an
aggressive beatdown deck usually, so your 2/2
will have very little backing it up. Especially
if you draw this late game.
Affinity anyone? Well, he might be a little slow
(and a little too colored) for competitive
Extended. Chromatic Star, Tidehollow Sculler,
and Esperzoa? Sounds like a game to me.

Court Homunculus
I just love the name homunculus. Rolls right off
the toungue. In standard, there a few esper
aggro decks that this guy may go into. A nice
first round drop that can hit for two with a
follow up artifact. Not tons to say on this
card. Simply, not bad...

Court Homunculas
Constructed:
A white winnie that is also a Artifact. They
only get a little bigger with another Artifact
out. Not seeing anything exciting happening.
Casual:
The little Homunculas to could.
Limited:
Just another cheap creature to help with the
curve. Not a top pick. But if you need alot of
little duds these guys are alright. If I open a
Mater of Etherium than I would grab as many as
these as possible. Watch my army of stuff take
you down!
Having efficient 2/2's for one mana has always
been a good thing in the game of Magic. But this
card takes a little bit of work to reach its 2
attack value. Admittedly, you just have to
control another artifact, which is terribly
difficult. I think it simply suffers from an
inferiority complex. There are just better
creatures to play. And the deck that is most
likely to take advantage of it
(Affinity/Ravager) simply has too many quality
options that need to be considered before this
guy.
