There's an old joke that adding the text "draw a
card" to anything will make it playable. By that
logic, Brainbite should become a staple, and it
would if it weren't still just a little
expensive for what it does. Gotta love that art,
though.

Brainbite
Lobotomy just got an upgrade. Now it is a
cantrip on top of the prior ability. This is a
real nice addition to a card that has always
seen love in any casual room. Not a top pick in
limited but if I get one in draft it will go in
my deck. The problem with the old lobotomy was
that it provided strategic advantage but not
card advantage. This does both.
Constructed:
To make someone discard any card and draw a card
for yourself is a great deal. Four mana not to
bad. Good thing is says 'opponent' or it could
help Unearth decks.
Casual &
Multiplayer:
Okay card for budget decks.
Limited:
This can be a great card for Alara Reborn only
drafts. For the other limited formats it is
okay. Being commons makes it a very solid pick.
