a good card that you can Play early in the game,

is Best Happy Game when you play a lot of
Colorless Cards. Yes. You can Play very big

only use Mana for a small Card to play this
creature that is a small card during Times and
also a big Card during different Times. You

having Different Times? Yes. We are all enjoying
playing Cards during Times, just like your happy
Friend B'Moor that I Am. You Should Play these
Cards. You Should Play these Cards. Play All of
the Cards. Yes. I Am your Friend.
This is one of the most explicitly Lovecraftian-vibe
creatures in the entire block, and for a
sub-genre of horror that emphasizes dark secrets
and the corrupting influence of creeping
insanity, the Mimic is awfully public about what
it does as part of the Eldrazi deck that's
caused so much discussion - and crisis - in
Modern. The thing is, it's actually a reasonably
fair effect when you're casting other Eldrazi
and similar creatures more or less on curve. But
it seems like nobody is doing that right now:
the temptation of discounted colorless cards is
just too great, I guess (some sort of modern
version of the Tinker phenomenon, I suppose).
Even when Eye of Ugin and Eldrazi Temple become
out of fashion, either by agreement or by
executive order, this card will still remain
pretty solid as long as green gets mana
acceleration of various types.
Wasn't the overall idea for Eldrazi to be
somewhat control oriented this time around?
Sure, you've got some beaters, but this card
just wants to be the exception to the rule. It's
something, but it isn't good.
