Ever since I learned that there was a format
that cared about mana cost - and wanted it to be
low - I haven't been able to look at cards with
game text like this one without thinking about
how they're basically blank in a format like
that. Of course, there are cards that basically
do nothing in Commander, or, nowadays, do
nothing outside of Commander, so we're a little
more used to the idea. The fact that its effect
is highly specific makes it more the sort of
card you look at for sideboard purposes, and
when you do side it in there are decks that it
basically tears apart: many control decks hate
it, and anything depending on something like The
Great Aurora or Warp World might fold after even
one casting.
