Metallurgic Summons

Cards like this, with circular one-card combos, are very amusing to me. There are so many things to do with this one, and they're pretty much all fun. Overrunning an opponent with a herd of constructs generated from cantrips is as funny as using Mana Reflection and New Frontiers to create a token bigger than an Eldrazi, and its activated ability is almost uncountable card advantage. The only downside I can think of for casual decks is that EDH and some other formats will only allow you to play one copy!

This is another 5 mana spell that has the issue of doing nothing when it resolves; you're ideally going to be on the spellslinger plan if you have this, but this still asks you to probably wait a turn before it gets going. Once it does, though, you're in good shape; you can ideally churn out a flood of 2/2 and 3/3 creatures to further your goals while you work on smashing faces in. The second effect is as powerful as it sounds, even if you're less likely to use it; I feel the horde of tokens you have is, unless you're setting up a win on your next turn, , better.

This is absurd in the right shell; the issue is, outside of EDH, I doubt the shell exists. It's fun, though, and it's also very bomb-tacular in Limited.
