Gamble

Gamble used to be widely considered part of a sort-of conceptual cycle with Mirage's various tutor spells (Enlightened, Vampiric, Mystical, and Worldly). It's clearly less purely powerful than any of those four, but I think that's okay. When your hand is large, it has a pretty good chance of letting you keep the thing you searched for, and even if it doesn't work out that way, it guarantees you getting something in your graveyard. There are a limited number of ways to do that in mono-red, and more generally, there are so many decks that don't really see any difference between the graveyard and the hand.

With great power comes great risk. Gamble is one of the most powerful tutoring cards ever printed, but the risk is that you might not be able to keep the card you keep. One mana is still an excellent investment for any card, with no restriction, and it can also work as a sorcery-speed Entomb if you have nothing else in hand. It also pairs decently with madness, effects that don't mind being in the graveyard (like dredge), and cards that have effects when discarded.

The random aspect may dissuade you a bit, but the power level makes this a worthy gamble (heh). Gamble has been printed in Eternal Masters, which makes it a reasonable way to get a copy if you want one for Legacy, Commander, or casual fun.
