Oketra the True

I haven't quite gotten my head around Amonkhet's gods compared to Theros' yet. I keep expecting them to be enchantments, especially with the static and/or activated abilities. Oketra's is a reference to Onslaught's Mobilization, which was certainly a strong card; it's actually a good use for her even if you never attack or block with her, though it's almost trivial to meet that requirement with white's portion of the color pie. My complaint is actually that indestructible feels a lot weaker in a block with -1/-1 counters. (Actually, come to think of it, there were lots of exile effects in Theros - surely one of them should have depicted Ajani and Elspeth trying to start the Enlightenment, since I'd hope that was on their minds.)

Oketra the True (5/3)

A 4-mana indestructible 3/6 with double strike? Well, only if you have enough creatures to make her want to jump into the fray. She can slowly churn out creatures to fix that, like Heliod in Theros could, but she really wants to get out when you already have enough creatures to get going.

Oketra isn't bad, but...she's frankly underwhelming, at least until we get a chance to play with her. She's an awesome part of the white-weenie deck, if they're fine working their way into a four-drop, and she can be brutal once you have enough creatures to get her to start doing her thing. But she needs a lot of support to get going, and she is sometimes too slow to get going on her own.
