The Wizards of the Coast’s online “elimination-style” competition reaches its pinnacle Monday, December 18^th as a new, paid design intern is named to the R&D design team for the premier trading card game, Magic: The Gathering^®.

 

Thousands of Magic^™ fans nationwide have been following the rigorous elimination process that started online a month ago with over 2,000 original applicants.  On Monday, Wizards of the Coast will be celebrating the top three finalists and announcing the winner of The Great Designer Search at an exclusive event in Seattle. 

 

Following the event, we’ll have professional footage and photographs available to share with you and your readers.  Additionally, based on your interest, I’m able to coordinate interviews with many of the notable guests attending. Wizards will hold their coverage of the event until 9 p.m. PST on 12/21 to give you time to develop your own story with unique, exclusive content for your readers.
