WIZARDS OF THE COAST BRINGS MAGIC WEEKEND TO PHILADELPHIA
 
WHAT: Wizards of the Coast is bringing Magic: The Gathering to the ‘City of Brotherly Love’ this weekend for the third Magic Weekend event of 2011. Beginning Friday, September 2 at the Philadelphia Convention Center, Magic Weekend Philadelphia will feature hundreds of players battling against one another for the championship. It will also feature the debut of the new Modern Constructed format as well as exclusive previews for Innistrad.
 
Open to the public, Wizards of the Coast also invites gaming fans to experience the event by participating in onsite public events, taking on Magic R&D Director Aaron Forsythe in a spellslinging challenge, and visiting with artists Eric Deschamps and Steve Belladin. Magic Weekend has something for fans of all ages and play skills.  
 
Media are also invited to attend and get an inside look at the event, meet the players, and interview Wizards of the Coast brand team members.
