From: Patrick Liddle
<pj.liddle1@btinternet.com>
Patrick liddle's top ten Pointless cards
These are cards with either no real effect or effects that
help your opponent.
10: Ameba Aqua/water/ATK300/DEF350. This card inflicts 2000
points of damage to your opponent when your opponent takes
control of it while face up.
Oh, please!
To start with, anyone with a brain would set it and not
summon it, so it's effect is very hard to utilize. In
addition, once face down, the only way to get it face
up would be if a monster attacked it, and its 350 defence
will almost always be destroyed.
Only with the release of compulsery control switches like
creature swap would this monster see any hope of play.
9: Ojamas beast/light/ATK0/DEF1000
These monsters are all-powerful in their place- but that
place is in the toilet. Their ATK/Def are extremely weak,
and they have no effects.
But the real reason I've put these guys in is their card
art! Let's face it; even weak cards have O.K card art, but
these things would make
you vomit. Ojama yellow looks the worst. He has long eyes on
strings, huge thick lips and, like all ojamas, wears a
thong. Ojama green
has a giant slobbery tongue, and has one eye and a horrid
smile. Ojama black is tremendously obesse and has a runny
nose. UUUUGH!
8: Koitsu Fairy/water/ATK200/DEF100 This card may be treated
as an equip spell card. Equip this card to "Aitsu". "Aitsu"
will have an
ATK strenth of 3100 and a trample effect. When Aitsu is
destroyed, this card is destroyed instead.
This Guy has weird card art, showing a naked blue guy
standing on a paper airplane. But the worst thing about him
is his level. He is a level
10, for goodness sakes! Two tributes for a 200 attacker.
This makes me want to kill something! I HATE THIS CARD!
7: Griggle Plant/Earth/See ameba/See ameba. This card is the
same as ameba, except you gain 3000 instead of your opponent
loosing
2000. This is lower because burn effects are better, and
this guy can be negated with bad reaction to simochi.
6: Aitsu fairy/fire/ATK100/DEF100
Like koitsu, this card us rubbish cause he is a
tribute-requiring under-1000 attackerr
5: Gryphon wing counter trap Negate the effect of "Harpies
feather duster and destroy all your opponent's spell or trap
cards on the field.
Being a secret rare promo, harpie's feather duster is hard
to get hold of, so it is almost useless
4: Jade insect whistle Normal spell add one insect type
mosnster to the top of your opponent's deck from their deck
this card either does nothing or helps your opponent. It can
be a godsend to parasite paracides, though, but how likely
or useful is that?
Besides, I always thought the fun (Though weakness) of
paracite paracide was that it infected your opponent itself.
3: the cheerfull coffin Normal spell Discard three cards
from your hand.
WHY WOULD ANYONE WANT TO DISCARD THREE CARDS? I suppose if
you play reversal of the worlds or marie the fallen one
decks this card
can be useful, but otherwise it seems a complete load of
hooley. Oh, and it could set a monster up for revival, but a
lot of rebirth cards only add it to your hand or deck.
2: Thousand eyes idol Spellcaster/dark/ATK0/DEF0
This card's only use is to merge with relinquished to form
thousand eyes restrict, but that needs 4 cards
(Relinquished, its ritual, idol and Polymerisation) So
usually
this card cannot be used. And of course, fairy meteor crush
could make this card a demon to you.
all these cards are bad. Really bad but the ultimate worst
card I know is...
DARK DESIGNATOR normal spell Declare the name of a monster.
if it is in your oppponent's deck, add it to your opponent's
hand.
If you play this card, you need help badly.
Like insect whistle, this card will have 2 possible
outcomes. 1: IT will do nothing 2: It will help your
opponent. However, if you have a hino-kagu-tsuchi
nearby it can be devistating, or card destruction, but
otherwise this card is rubbish.
If you have any queries on my choices or want to know what a
card looks like, contact me at pj.liddle1@btinternet.com.
For computer security, I will not be opening
attachments. If anyone sends me a virus, I will send a giant
image of Ojama yellow (Just kidding).
Take care!
