Trinity Cheats New Sphinx Deck and other odds and ends - A lonely Prophet
Date: Sat, 9 Jul 2005 12:44:47 -0700 (PDT)

Evenin folks, A lonely Prophet is making his return to CCG since he cant get on the message boards. First, to the genius that said the CCG Tips and Tricks is for expressing yourself, NO, thats what the message boards are for, never end a sentence with a preposition. OK, now that that is out of the way, I'd like to expose a secret of Tier 1 duelists and their decks and hope the yugioh KGB doesnt kill me. That Trinity that everyone talks about, Pot of Greed+Graceful Charity+Delinquent Duo in the first hand, its not totally unlikely, check it= PoG and GC you will more then likely draw since its a 2:40 chance or 1:20 to be your first card, then you draw 5 more only upping the odds to about 1 in 4. Since they're draw engines, they will likely draw out the other pieces of the Trinity. But wait, theres a secret that the Master duelist (see my other article about classes) knows and veteran duelists are unaware of, when you slap down the Trinity, they are all right next to each other in the graveyard, and after the duel they are right next to each other in the deck. I've seen the way most duelists shuffle, it's so-so, and even when the opponent cuts the deck, they will likely all be right next to each other and one draw engine can get the other parts. Judges need to examine the decks for this because I realized everytime I drew PoG or GC I got my other draw engine right away. Judges, make a note of that.
Alright now my other part of this article deals with this deck I've been trying, that I call the New-Age Sphinx Deck using Criosphinx in conjunction with Penguin Soldier, Hade-Hane, Golem Sentry, and Compulosry Evacuation Device, you can destroy their hand and clear their field. CrioSphinx doubles the advantage of all those cards by making your opponent discard and clearing their field. He can be protected by Heart of Clear Water (an underrted card) and hes searchable by sangan and giant rat. Go try the deck, its fun. For my next article I will be dealing with the numerous kinds of advatage a player can have: field, hand, out of play, graveyard, deck, Lp, etc.
Please send me your opinions about my article, I love mail.
