Fire's Fanatical Fury -
Sean
Sean’s back. To clarify a bit, in the batch of tips on April
18, the articles "Chaos: the counter Counter-Revolution" and
"fun little burn combo" are mine I just forgot to put "by
Sean" in the title. Sorry for the oversight. Anyway, here’s
a new batch of articles. Enjoy!
I am proud to announce that I’m starting my own unofficial
deck garage. I’m not cool enough to have an official one.
However, each week I get at least a half-dozen requests for
deck designs and/or fixes. So I’ll be submitting a response
to one of these emails to pojo tips once a week. Hope you
enjoy them. Feel free to send in requests.
First up is a response to an email I received asking for a
fire deck design.
Strengths: The fire deck combines a number of powerful
themes. ATK points will not exactly be in short supply,
giving the fire deck beatdown potential. Burn/Direct attack
will also be an essential part of Fire. Furthermore, UFO
turtle, spirit of flames, and inferno will all provide
swarming. Inferno, Solar Flare Dragon, and Raging Flame
Sprite all provide direct damage. Ultimate Baseball Kid will
feed off your other fire monsters. The two worthwhile
Inpachi cards, Blazing Inpachi and Charcoal Inpachi, will
provide solid offensive and defense power as glue to hold
everything together. Molten Destruction turns the offensive
side of the deck into a powerhouse, and backfire will
provide further burn, and can combo well with scapegoat and
DNA Transplant. DNA Transplant will prove vital to the Fire
Deck, providing support for Ultimate Baseball Kid,
Scapegoat, etc.
Weaknesses: The Fire deck has one chief weakness. It’s very
hit or miss. Versatile is NOT a word that can be readily
applied to Fire. When you get the right cards together, Fire
will be a nearly unstoppable beast. However, many times you
may find yourself stuck in positions where all you have are
no-option options with a bunch of unrelated cards. Fire
relies heavily on combos, on different cards working
together well. If you have cards that don’t support each
other, you may end up with serious trouble.
Anyway here’s my prototype for a Fire deck Monsters Level

Comments? Questions? My email is seanslcars@comcast.net and
my AIM screenname is NazGul0010. I’m not one of those people
that says "No hatemail please". I love reading that stuff.
Until next time-SetoKaibafan13
