I know your wondering whats this is about. Well its about
how Black Luster Soldier-Envoy of the Beginning can make you
or break you. I will explain llittle later what this means,
but before I do that I will explain its stats.
Black Luster Soldier-Envoy of the Beginning-Lizz
8 stars
3000 ATK/2500 DEF
Warrior/Effect
This card can only be special summoned by removing 1 Light
and 1 Dark monster in your Graveyard from play. Once during
each of yoru turns, you can select and activate 1 of the
following effects.
*Remove 1 monster on the field from play. If you activate
this effect, this card cannot attack during this turn.
*If this card destroyed your opponents as a result of
battle, it can attack once again in a row.
Obviously this stats are enough to scare anyone or are they.
Firstly lets look at its level of stars, 8, thats not too
bad because now we can actually morph this thing into
Gattling dragon and other level 8 fusions later in the
future. Its attack is pefect. Its defense is good because
you can SSummon him in defense and remove a monster and
attack with one of your other monsters and don't have to
worry about your opp. activating mirror force. Its a warrior
so it has a lot of support cards such as Warrior Returning
Alive, Don Zaloog, and the DD family. Finally lets look at
its amazing effects. Its first effect is where players have
trouble facing against him. His first effect breaks your opp.
plan, sets up your plan, and most importantly gives you HUGE
field advantage. We all know how important field advantage
is now a days. Finally its last effects can also provide
field advantage (since you can get rid of 2 monsters with 1
monster) as well, also players use the second effect to
usually end the game.
Now I will talk about how players use BLS-EotB and how it
affects the game whether its a bad outcome or a good
outcome. I have seen a lot of players play BLS-EotB near the
middle and late game and say "thats game" well that phrase
holds more true to CED-Envoy of the End. In my opinion its
not smart to play BLS-EotB near the middle of the game
because if your opp. is holding 3,4, or 5 or more cards,
they clearly have an answer to it no matter how much they
are pretending to look scared. I have seen players
intentially play all but 1 card just for you to play your
BLS-EotB so then he/she could Snatch Steal/Mind Control/TIV/Exiled
Force, and many more Anti-monster cards just to get rid of
your best monster in your deck. Now I have seen players also
play this card near the end of the game (when I say the end
of the game, I don't mean when both players have 1 or 2
cards left in their hand and 2 or 3 cards on each side of
their field) what I mean by that is that playing BLS-EotB
with your opp. having very few resources to get rid of
BLS-EotB is truly when the game is over. Finally I would
like to say that BLS-EotB can be played for field advantage,
card advantage, or just for a quick kill, its up to you to
decide how to play him. Personally I play BLS-EotB when I
know that I could get rid of their most valuable monster or
when I want to end the game. Also if you lose BLS-EotB by
your opp. BLS-EotB don't panic just relax and you will get
rid of theirs sooner or later.
