Lesser Played Decks: Neutron Blast of Fury
Hello all, back for the third (and probably final)
installment of Lesser Played Decks. If anybody wants
me to, I will do another one but as of now, the
series is coming to a close. If you couldn't guess
from the title, then you should know that this will
be a Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon Deck. Now many people
will say you are a noob if you try and summon BEUD
the hard way, but if you, like I did, can win a few
games with it, you'll have quite a few people who
will respect you. I used a variation of this deck in
a tournament and although I didn't win, I gained
respect, had fun and showed off thepower of the
strongest creature in the game.
First I'll start with the fusions as they are the
cornerstones of this deck:
Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon
Thousand Dragon
King Dragun
Use as many of each as you can, as BEUD's are hard
to come by now.
Thousand Dragon Provides some fusion support and
King Dragun is just SO broken in this deck. With
negation of everything your opponent tries to target
your dragons with, to the ability to summon a dragon
from your hand every turn (usually a BEWD), it is as
abusable here as CED is in Traditional.
Our tributes will be 3 Blue Eyes, as that's all we
really need, but feel free to side in Jinzo or
Mobius as they are good for security when your BEWDs
hit the field.
Now for non-tributes, we'll use a set of monsters to
keep or field presence so that BEWDs will be able to
be summoned easily.
2x Kaiser Sea Horse
2x Kiabaman
3x Spear Cretin
2x Magician of Faith
2x The Light-Hex Sealed Fusion
2x The Dark-Hex Sealed fusion
1x Time Wizard
2x Lord of D.
1x Cyber Stein
These are pretty self explanatory, but I'll do that
for you. Kaiser and Kiabaman are BEWD summoning
friends and Kaiser can hold its own in battle. Spear
Cretins can bring whatever fusion materials you need
back to the field and they can even create a stall
if you have two of them; one in the grave and
another on the field. MoF's can bring back the
spells essential for fusion and the Hex Sealed
Fusions are fusion subs, and when combined with
fusion materials on the field, destroy the need for
a fusion spell card. Time Wizard, in addition to
being a fusion material can provide some monster
destruction in a pinch and Lord of D. can be used as
protection when you are unable to summon King Dragun.
The Spell Lineup will look something like this:
Graceful Charity
Snatch Steal
MST
Heavy Storm
NoC
Premature Burial
Brain Control
Fusion Gate
Polymerization
Fusion Sage
Dragons Mirror x2
I will neglect a Flute of Summoning Dragon as it is
too bad a topdeck and is vey situational, with only
three dragons in this deck. The others I think are
obvious as they all help summon big dragons or are
staple spells, anyway moving on to traps.
Mirror Force
Sakuretsu Armor x3
Negate Attack x2
Waboku x2
Mirror Wall
The trap lineup will hopefully keep you monsters
alive long enough to be sacrificed and with lots of
attack negation, you should be able o hold you own.
Mirror Wall is a very good card in this deck because
it and turn an opponents monster to dust while
saving one of you own, Waboku's are in there for
chainability and Negate Attacks are, being
counter-traps, hard to negate.
That pretty much sums up this Deck so I'll give you
the whole list:
Neutron Blast of Fury
Card Count: 41
Fusion: 9

3x Thousand Dragon
3x King Dragun
