Trading Card Game Tips from fans

Subject: Turning a negative into a positive - by Itsy Spider

Hi guys. I just wanted to post some tips on a card that I think deserves to be seen more often-Creature Swap.
In my opinion, I think that Creature Swap is a great card. Nothing like trading away your weak monster to take control of your opponent's Jinzo/Mobius, right? I can remember loads of situations where I topdecked it

and managed to literally turn the tables. Once, I managed to win by swapping

one of my monsters for Jinzo.

Of course, there are a few cons. Technically, Creature Swap is a -1 card advantage. You're giving up two cards (Creature swap and your monster) for one of your opponent's monsters.
But there is a way to turn that minus into a plus.
I thought of this when I still used my 'searcher' deck (It uses multiple Mother Grizzlys, UFO Turtles and Pyramid Turtles)

The solution to the -1 card advantage is really simple.
Simply summon a 'searcher', such as Mother Grizzly, Masked dragon, etc. and swap it. Now use their monster and attack your own monster. Your opponent gets -1 because they lost your monster. But then you get to use the effect of your searcher and search out another copy from your deck. An instant +1 for you.

You -2 (Creature Swap and your 'searcher') You +1 (Your opponent's monster) Your opponent -1 (They lose your monster) You +1 (You get another copy of your monster)

Simple, huh?

There are also other ways that you can get even more advantage. An alternative to the above is to search Spirit Reaper/White Magical Hat/Don Zaloog/Masked Sorceror and (maybe) attack them directly to gain even more advantage. If you want to deal more damage, you could use one of your searchers to suicide into the other searcher that you gave them with Creature Swap, thus letting you get two more monsters onto the field to attack your opponent directly with. You could even suicide Mystic Tomato into your own Mystic Tomato, letting you search out two Don Zaloogs!

Hopefully, this article will let other duelists think of new ways to gain card advantage. I hope that more duelists out there will use Creature Swap in the future.
If you want to send me any suggestions or you want to yell at me for any reason, just e-mail me at philip_lee9@hotmail.com (Please, don't spam me or
anything)
