Subject: Aaaah! Allergies!

Good morning, ladies, gentlemen, and children of all shapes, sizes and
age. I am Dr. Werewolf (for those of you who don't know me). For those
of you who do and have been reading my last few tips, you know about my
Greed deck. Thank you FoxRider5 for pointing out that I was missing the
Bistro Butcher in that deck. The Bistro Butcher is a common from MRD
that forces your opponent to draw three cards when it deals damage to
them. Also, there is another card in the upcoming POTD set that would
really boost the power of that deck. It is a Destiny Hero called
Destiny Hero-Defender. It is a common, and a four star. It has a
pitifully pathetic 100 attack, but the defense is 2700!
However, there is a down side to all of this: For every turn this card
is on the field, your opponent draws a card during his/her standby
phase. Now, normally this would be a huge drawback, but in the Greed
deck, this translates into "For every turn that this card is on the
field, your opponent draws a card during his/her standby phase and
takes 500 damage."
While this by itself would do nothing, combined with the other cards in
the list, this card could provide an excellent wall while you deplete
your opponent's LP. However, it is a magnet for Smashing, so make sure
you bait the opponent out first.

Now, onto my real tip. This time, I am focusing on a different kind of
burn. Last time, the point of the "deck" was to force your opponent to
draw cards through card effects. This time, the point of the deck is to
make your opponent gain life points. Strange, no? However, the key card
in this deck is Bad Reaction to Simochi. The effect reads "As long as
this card remains face up on the field, any effect of increasing your
opponents life points is changed to inflict the same amount of points
in damage to your opponent's life points." The main problem is that
this is a continuous trap, and therefore very vulnerable to s/t removal

I found six cards that increase your opponent's life points:

Burning Algae (M)
Eye of Truth (T)
Rain of Mercy (S)
Upstart Goblin (S)
Snatch Steal (S)

And, of course,

Bad Reaction to Simochi

Burning Algae is a monster that increases your opponent's life points
by 1000 when it is sent to the graveyard. With Simochi on the field,
they lose a 1000.

Eye of Truth gives you a free look at your opponent's hand. They get a
thousand life points for every spell in his/her hand during his/her
standby phase. With Simochi, every spell = -1000 LP for them. It is
easy to get around, but it will cause some pain at first.

Rain of Mercy increases both player's LP by 1000. Simochi converts it
into +1000 for you, -1000 for the guy/girl across the table.

Upstart Goblin. Draw a card, decrease your opponent's lp by 1000. Me
likee.

The main problem with this deck would be drawing the above cards while
Simochi is not on the field. A Mask of Darkness would definitely help
you. Getting a Simochi from the grave is quite helpful.

This could have some potential. Add in some removal, maybe an Exiled if
you can't live without your precious CC, and you have a deck.

This is Dr. Werewolf, signing off.
