Trading Card Game Tips from fans

Subject: Fiendishly Kozaky--by brad
Fiendishly Kozaky
Hey, all. Yeah, comical title, I know, but it works. In this
article, I will be discussing the Giant Kozaky deck.
The focus of this deck is to burn your opponent’s life
points quickly before they can kill you. The idea revolves
around getting Giant Kozaky to your opponent’s side of the
field and then destroying it by some means so that it will
inflict big damage to you opponent’s life points.
This deck is essentially a fun deck that will work its best
in casual play, but if built correctly, could be used in a
tournament. It is remarkably original, especially
considering all of the Cyber Dragon and DD Assailant abuse
out there. It is also very fun to use, especially when the
combos work.
Before we get onto the deck list itself, I will discuss a
few particular cards. For starters, let’s look at ‘flip face
up’ cards. These include Ceasefire, The Spell Absorbing
Life, and Book of Taiyou. Even if you have no face down
Kozaky, you can set Giant Kozaky, then Box it or Swap it,
then flip it. The Spell Absorbing Life and Ceasefire do not
activate flip effects, but Giant Kozaky will still activate.
However, he must be a face up monster to have his effect
activated. Giant Kozaky, in combination with Creature Swap
and Ceasefire could be evil. If there is no face-up Kozaky,
that will be at least 3000 damage in one swipe.
The extra burn cards are in for support of the Giant Kozaky,
since the combo will not always go off. The Wave-Motion
Cannons will help with that as well as bait out the spell
and trap removal so as to somewhat protect your stall.
The Messengers of Peace will prevent your opponent from
destroying such cards as Stealth Bird via battle.
As for the Goblin Attack Force, you may need a higher attack
monster occasionally so that you can attack the Giant Kozaky
you just gave your opponent. Since Giant Kozaky has 2400
DEF, Goblin Attack Force will minimize the damage you take.
Remember, it doesn’t matter how Giant Kozaky is destroyed,
so beware summoning it face up to your field when your
opponent may have a Torrential Tribute up their sleeve.
Giant Kozaky can be a fun combo card, but use it wisely, or
it can backfire.
Lastly, this deck will function much more smoothly if you
have some means of speed, thus the Dekoichi.
Here is the deck. Build it, tweak it, test it, and most
importantly, have fun!

give credit where it is due. Again, have fun, as that is the
original point of the game.
Ciao
Like it? Hate it? Think I’m a pompous nOOb for even
suggesting the use of such cards? Drop me a line, I’d like
to hear some feedback. brad@bradlandusa.com. As always, I do
not accept unsolicited hate mail.
