Trading Card Game Tips from fans

I am gonna look at two cards from Spirit of Infinity.

First is Generation Change (SOI-055). This card allows you
to destroy a face up card on your field and add another with
the same name to your hand. Immediately, I thought of using
it to blow up Emissary of the Afterlife, grab an Exodia Piece
and get another Emissary in hand. I am not 100% sure, but I
think this might also be an easy way to get the Manticore of
Darkness/Exodia OTK going. All hinges on whether destroying Manticore
so it goes to the graveyard meets the "whenever Manticore is sent
to graveyard" part of Manticore's clause.

A card that should definitely meet Manticore's requirements
is Next to be Lost (SOI-054), which allows you to select a face up
monster on your field and send a card of the same name to the
graveyard from your deck.

Anyhow, I think these are some interesting deck-thinning devices
that have many more combo opportunities, e.g., use Gen Change on
an already summonend Manju and you are guaranteed the pieces to
a Ritual in 2 turns; use Gen Change on that cute Poison Draw Frog
your Grizzly pulled; and so on. And maybe they will help Exodia
see more play in highly competitive environments.

Of course, Ancient Gear Drill's ability to pull limiter removal
at will should also make Machine OTK's that much nastier in
Ancient Gear type decks. Maybe in Cyberstein type decks too.
