Subject: Metagame, Part I, Metagame Overview--PlaydohDude

This is PlaydohDude again, with a new email and stuff.

As you can always see, metagame (current playing enviroment) is always changing. When a new set comes out, one specific card may change the game for good. Well, for casual play and tournament play, metagame is probably different. So I'll start with Tournament play.

CYBER DRAGON

Okay, everyone knows about Cyber Dragon right? He's a pretty powerful monster to play with. But he has a brother, who in my opinion, is a tiny bit better. The Fiend Megacyber! First of all, TFM is Dark, which has some pretty okay support. Second, if you don't use his effect, he's only level 6. Still more, his effect is a bit easier to pull off, as you can still have monsters on the field, but your opponent wil still have more. Here's on last rant, he has 100 more attack! Play whichever you choose. Just remember. TFM IS WATCHING YOU!

WARRIOR TOOLBOX

This deck has rosen in play GREATLY during the last few months. A RotA can grab any warrior for any situation. Whether it be Don Zaloog, Goblin Attack Force, or even Elemental Hero Wildheart, you can pull it. If you play this deck, then you'll probably be sharing similar cards with other players.

Okay, I know there are other specific cards besides Cyber Dragon that are big the metagame, like Don Zaloog and Breaker the Magical Warrior, but I'll hold out on them, no matter how good they are.

Time to go over casual play!

ELEMENTAL HEROES

Of course, we have the Heroes. I like them, and am tryting to currently make a fun decj out of them, but face it, they aren't that good. They have massive support, and they are weak to begin weak. The fusions are okay, but they can't be Metamorphisis'd. Or fused with the Hex Sealed fusions, only with the exact materials. They have become the most wanted cards, the fusions have...... It is all because of Yugioh GX.... Which brings me to a new, recent topic regarding GX.....

OJAMAS!

Ojama Delta Hurricane, Ojamagic, Ojamuscle, Ojama King..... These horrible cards have now become a bit more popular, for two reasons. First, because of thir new support, and second, because Chazz Princeton on Yugioh GX uses them. I believe that, played right, they are actually pretty good, ut not many people are this good. In the right hands, they ould be pretty deadly.

Okay, so that's just a bit overview of some metagame. There are many more cards rising in popularity, but these are just a few. In my next article, I'll finish up my Metagame articles with "Metagame, Part II, The Anime Impact". Sounds cool huh? Well, whatever you think, you guys keep on rollin'.

PlaydohDude

P.S. Email me as much as you like with your compliments and complaints! Also, tell me if my catchphrase(You guys keep on rollin'!) is good. I've gotten emails from people and they hate it! Oh well.........................
