Subject: The Egyptian Gods - Raiketsu

We all know about the Egyptian God monsters, being used in the anime, so powerful "the world will crumble at your feet". Jsut one problem: YOU CANNOT USE THEM IN DUELS!!!!

However, if you do want to have "fun" duels using these god monsters, go ahead. I'm not stopping you. In fact, I am helping you out, by giving a list of these God effects and such.

Firstly: Effects that apply to all Egyptian Gods

1. Gods take three tributes to summon to the field.

2. Gods are unaffected by trap cards. The anime may imply otherwise, but all those traps only lasted one turn, so you pick.

3. Magic/Spell cards with only affect a God monster for one turn. Meaning, Premature will revive it until the end of the turn and other such things. Dark Hole and other things will still work.

Now then, down to the specific Gods.

OBELISK THE TORMENTOR

4000/4000

If you really play by card text, the only one you can actually use.

Apparent effect: Tribute two monsters on your side of the field (except this card) to destroy all monsters on your opponent's side of the field and deal 4000 damage to their LP. This card cannot attack the turn this effect is activated. This effect can only be used once during the current duel.

SAINT DRAGON OF OSIRIS

For you English namers,

SLIFER THE SKY DRAGON

Ohh....red....

Apparent effect: This card's ATK and DEF is the number of cards in your hand x1000. Whenever your opponent summons (including Special Summon) a monster, decrease that monster's ATK by 2000. If that card's ATK is less than or equal to 2000, destroy that monster. Whenever your opponent sets a monster, decrease the DEf of that monster by 2000. If that card's DEF is less than or equal to 2000, destroy that monster.

WINGED DRAGON OF RA

????/????

Not much of a dragon, but oh well...

Apparent effects:

Ra has multiple effects, making it the best God Card around.

1. The ATK and DEF of this monster is the cumulative ATK and DEF of the monsters sacrificed for it.

2. Pay 1000 LP, destroy any card on the field.

3. Pay any amount of LP, increase Ra's ATK and DEF by the amount payed.

4. Tribute any monster on your side of the field to increase Ra's ATK and DEF by the ATK and DEF of the tributed monster.

Behold, the three Gods.
