Card Game Tips from fans

Subject: Underused cards and combos - Vlad
hey all,
my name is Vlad and this is my first tip on pojo. anyway on
to the tip. Have you ever noticed how in today's metagame a
lot of cards are overlooked and shunned because everyone's
running three of everything: 3xCyber
Dragon,3xDDAssailant,3xSpirit reaper,3x sakuretsu armor and
so on and so and so on....Im expecting this to change with
the April banlist and actualy, im kinda glad if it does.
Itll be interesting to see how players manage without three
of everything and what they will b able to come up with. A
card that i think could become more useful in bounce decks
and others to replace some of this repetiveness is
Compulsory Evacuation Device
[Trap Card]
Return 1 monster on the field to the owner's hand.
I know the effect isnt all that great with a -1 to the owner
and a +1 to a person's hand, but once you think about it, it
has alot of good uses. First and foremost it can defend your
life points from an attack or you can save it for a big
tribute or nomi monster(i.e. Mobius,Pheonix,Chaos Sorceror),
giving u a plus 1 advantage. another way to use it is on the
offensive if your unsure if ur opponent has a face down dd
warrior lady or assailant. finaly you can use it to protect
your own monster(i.e. compulsinary one of your monsters then
dark hole the field then re-summon your monster OR they
snatch steal your monster and you send it back to your
hand). The best part about it is that its chainable to
anything and wont die out like sakuretsu armor or widespread
would. One of my favorite combos though, is with this card
Creature Swap
[Spell Card]
Both players select one monster from their respective sides
of the field and switch control with each other. The
selected monsters cannot change their battle positions for
the turn.
I don't know why but this hasn't seen much play lately.
Personaly i think its a great tech card even if it generates
a -1 advantage. If used right it kan turn the game around
plus its got great synergy with CED(compulsory evacuation
device, NOT chaos emperor dragon). Think about it, play this
, swap cards and then play CED on what you gave ur opponent
and bam! They have a clear field and you have a extra
monster on your side of the field. Advantage wise this is a
-1 again, but you get a free shot at their life points and a
monster that you didn't have before. And for the final card
of my combos today....
Raigeki Break
[Trap Card]
Discard one card from your hand to the graveyard to destroy
one card on the field.
another -1 advantage card that can work great if used
corectly. combo this with dark world cards or cards that
will help you in the graveyard(i.e. light and dark chaos
food, premature wat youve discarded, or level mod a strong
level monster such as Horus Lv 8) also if you don't have a
card in your hand you can use compulsionary to get one from
your field. Puls, its chainable to aynthing giving it
advantage over saku, widespread, cylinder, and torrential.
And it lets you kill ANYTHING includig spells, traps
monsters, ANYTHING. So anyway those are my tips and if i do
write in the tip section again ill probably talk about more
underused cards that have great potential in the right
hands.
If you want to contact me about this tip and any stupid,
noobish, or repetitive thing i may have said, ur free to
email me at vladghica2@yahoo.com
