Subject: Yugioh: A game of classes- Bodacious1

Yugioh- A game of classes

As many of you may not know, yugioh has many different Social Classes. A Social Class is a particular grouping of people, judged to be better or worse than another group. I have devised a "respect system" - an order of which classes get respect (I will start with class 1, the one that gains the

least amount of respect).

Class 1: Newbs, Little Kids (whatever you want to call them)

Newbs are the Yugioh beginners. They play with basically the cards out of starter decks, their cards have no sleeves and are often bent or torn in several places. Newbs are the only ones who follow the yugioh sensation completly, they watch the show, collect and play with the cards, and probably have yugioh bed sheets, a yugioh lunchbox etc. Newbs play in tournaments for fun, not really to win, but they think that their Yugi Starter Deck is the "Best thing since sliced bread". Newbs range in age anywhere from three to nine, and usually cry when they lose a match. But hey, all of us were newbs at some point, and therefore, yugioh wouldn't exist without newbs.

Class 2: Thieves, Dirty Crooks

These people are respected more than the newbs, only because they actually have effect monsters. Thieves can actually win tournaments and beat some of the people from the higher classes, but people dislike them immensly, because of their bad habits of petty theft. Once a thief is caught stealing of somebody is identified as a thief, they are never treated the same. Newbs

are (70%) of the time Thieves, they only advance in rank because they can actually win a duel.

Tips on how to spot thieves:

Like to hang out in the corners of a cardshop, with their heads down, they are probably trading the card they just stole.

Leave your nice, thick binder on a bench or table for awile, but watch it constantly and stay hidden, and sooner or later you'll see a thief attempt to.... you know...

Tips on how to keep thieves away:

Tape up your binder- i actually do this, and people laugh, but hey, nobody's

ever snagged a card off of me.

Only show your cards to one person at a time- thieves want to go where there

are a lot of people, so he can stick his hand into their belongings and they

won't notice, being too occupied.

Keep your holos in your pockets- i do this as well.

Class 3: Average Player

These are usually your tourney winners, they play to win, and that's it.
Most of these people win 50-90% of the games they play, and they usually run

CC's.

Class 4: Collectors (me!)

You know him, the guy who sits at a table, his overthick binder in front of him, constantly negotiating trades. He can also play well, but enjoys the back seat, watching the Average Players duke it out. These people can also help build a pretty good deck for you.

Class 5: Cardshop's Son

Not all cardshops have this one. He is usually the son of the owner of the cardshop, who gets every card he wants, and wins most duels, and then boasts

about it. There is one guy at my cardshop that almost has every card in the game!
