Subject: Strike Ninja theme Dark deck with Strategy- RequiemBlues

" You gotta be like water ; soft and flowing one moment, then a pounding torrential the next." - Spike Spiegel

Sorry, had a Bebop moment there, even though it explains the entire strategy in this deck.

-Main cards to consider-

Strike Ninja 1700-atk/1200-def
-You can remove this card from play until the End Phase of this turn by removing 2 DARK monsters from your Graveyard from play. You can use this effect during either players turn. You can only use this effect once per turn.

-Things to remember-
-CONS
Can't remove during damage calculation (UDE ruling, check the offical site)
two monsters is a cost
Must be face up(trigger effect, think Hand of Nephthys)
-PROS
Great for wasting opponents resources
medium okay attack
SWARMS

D.D. Scout Plane 800-atk/1200-def
-If this card is removed from play, Special summon this card in face-up Attack Position on your side of the field during the end phase of the turn.

-Things to remember-
-CONS
comes back in attack so expect lifepoint damage
BAD topdeck and sometimes gets stuck in hand
-PROS
Swarms with Strike Ninja's effect
Usually gets Nobleman'd and special summoned
Can be removed from hand, field, or graveyard

To the Strategies!!!!

-Discard Scout planes for lightning vortex or place them on the field to be destroyed for the Strike Ninja swarm.
-Tribute special Summoned Scout panes for Dark ruler Ha Des or DMOC
-Use Exarion's less used effect on people's Spirit Reapers or goat tokens.
-Kuriboh is a bad topdeck sometimes, but he stops a strong monsters for a turn and gives Strike Ninja dodge fodder
-Set a Scout Plane first turn to make your opponent Nobleman it
-Attack with all your monsters on a clear field, then use Strike ninja's effect to remove it with two Scout Planes, and use Return from the Different Dimension to finish off any opponent with low lifepoints.
-Of course, use Lightning vortex with Night Assailant to get back Cyber Jar to swarm the field again

-Most of the magic/Spell cards are used to clear the field for a Ninja swarm or just simple attacks
-Hammer shot is useful in this deck because most of the monsters have low attack points
-Cylinder may be restricted to one, but it is a gamebreaking substitue for the more common Sakuretsu or Widespread Ruin.

I usually waste the Scout planes and Dodge the whole duel with Strike Ninja until I draw Chaos End (good only late game, Need 7 cards removed from play to use effect)

So try to play conservatively in beginning game and when the conditions are fulfilled go on the offensive middle to late game, nibbling away at their life points with the Strike ninja's and Kycoo.Even with a Scout Plane if you have to.

I heard from a friend that Strike Ninja was a tech card in Europe, and when I visited my local Comic Odyssey I noticed that everyone was running at least one.If this becomes a staple in the next metagame then It might be a little weird.

This Deck was inspired by JAELOVE's article and was fixed to the latest ban list, and was created for the sole use of having fun with Strike Ninja's.If you make a deck, find a base idea for it and go with it.Don't make a deck just for the sake of countering someone else's deck or having the best cards.Find out what works and what doesn't in your theme.so far I have happily made three fun and competitive decks.
-Strike Ninja Dodge
-Archfiend Aggro
-Archlord Zerato fairy
If a Rescue cat deck or exodia necross deck seems viable, then run with it.This Metagame needs to be shaken up a bit to keep things fun.I would laugh and duel harder if someone won the SJC tournaments with a Harpy Lady/Lady Ninja Yae deck.

If ya Net-Deckers are reading this then If you do copy this deck, remember:I still have fun even when I lose just because I dodged an opponents card and made him cry out in frustration.I hope you find that deck idea that makes you try your hardest to improve it and make it competative and fun.

If you have problems with this article then send a transmission to the Sydicate at Requiemblues@gmail.com

See ya later Space cowboy.....
