Subject: mean underlooked combo/rant - Psycho



Hey all here is my combo it's quite simple.



1. Clear their backfield. That means no S/T on their side of the field

2. Summon Marauding Captain.

3. Use his effect to special summon Hand of Nephthys. (yes you know where I'm going)

4. Use Hand of Nep. effect and special summon sacred phoenix.

5. This is a very underlooked combo, and I have NEVER seen anyone use this.



Anyways, I think that Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys is now quite underrated. Yes, D.D. Assailant/WL can and probably will suicide into Sacred Phoenix, but there is such a card as Return from the Different Dimension, and since it will destroy sacred phoenix by a card effect, it'll get special summoned on your next turn! And since Buttless Trap Hole (not a typo) isn't used much since we still have 3 DDA, you will most likely successfully summon her and destroy all S/T on da field. These are the sort of game turning tactics that win games. Why doesn't anybody use sacred phoenix? It's stats aren't terrible. Yes i said it. The stats arent terrible. It's easy to get now (which i hate) so it SHOULD be swarming every single tournament with little kids who arent running E-heroes. It's very playable with Hand of Nep. and Marauding like I said. Try it out and be original (I am a hater of those originality babies as I say you should play what works for YOU, but this time I'm with em). If you have little kids bothering you for a duel, this, I guarantee will annoy the crap out of em. I'm going to regionals in Durham, NC on Jan 15 and I'm taking a warrior-phoenix hybrid. It's basically warriors with sangan, sacred phoenix and 1 copy of hand of nep. What I'm trying to say is try to give it a chance, and have fun!
