Subject: Tournament and Casual play by Max Mouto (Bernbeck)
Hello again. This time I'll talk about different
formats of play. In order here they are from least
to greatest importance, intensity, and rule abiding:
Casual Play
small tournament
local tournament
regionals
nationals
,and finally,
WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS!!!!!!!!
Casual play usually you get to play with whatever
rules you and your friends want. Small tournament
few people compete in and is a cross between casual
play and local tournament. Local tournaments are
held by stores and follow the official Yu-Gi-Oh TCG
rules and usually win relatively small prizes. The
regionals are a intense official upper deck
tournament held in each state to let people qualify
for the nationals. The Nationals have a bit more
pressure because if you make a top rank, you get
qualified for every duelist's dream, the World
Championships! This is by far the biggestn
tournament ever, challenging every player in the
world to come, and you get awsome prizes no matter
what. But if you get first prize, you get the
millenium trophy! So what are you waiting for? Jump
in the game right now!
