Trading Card Game Tips from fans

Subject: inferno angel -DMC

time to be a little reckless with your machine deck, more specifically your VWXYZ deck.

here's something fun to do. I will throw in "card advantage" numbers for those of you who think numbers, and not abilitiy, is the advantage :)

special summon a shining angel and add inferno reckless summon to it. since you most likely used a premature or call to do this, you lose that card (-1) to gain it (+1) use summon (-1) gain 2 angels (+2) so its +1 total.

Ener battle phase. smack your angels into whatever they got, -3, summon a Y, a Z, and a W to negate that -3. Still at +1. Activate a limiter and clear their monsters, so you kill 1-3 monster at a -1, since you are guantaneed 1 kill (you have 2 3000 attacks and a 2600 one, i hope you can kill something) you at least even out again, maybe gain +1 or 2 (so thats +2 or 3 total for match) and did some damage, looking real good.

if you had a call of the haunted to get out v or X in that step more power to you, numbers even out, but you got damage in. use a soul ressurection or other reborn card to get out a v or x (or use 2 and get both). I prefer soul ressurection because it can be run in 3s and works on what shining can't get out.
summon the last peice you don't have. you now have v-z on the field. impressinve. Now remove them all, -5, to gain the 2 other fusions, +2, for a -3 (however since you were going to lose 3 due to limiter anyway is this really a -3 or a way to get soemthing for what you were losing? Oh well, -3 anyway. so now, for game we are at 0 or -1. sweet. use xyz to pop off whatever you can from the oppoents field, 1 for 1's from your hand, make sure you leave 1 for VWXYZ to remove afterwards (so you can use a free removal and save a card) so your hand is blown, but you killed their field. remove the 2 fusions to summon VWXYZ, -1, remove a card on their side of the field, +1. so you end off teh turn at 0 or -1 card advantage from what you started, but you also killed your opponents field, and got out a big, powerful, evil machine out.
best of all, they kill it and it can still be revived (you have a magicial of faith to get back premie right? with the new list you should have 2!) dimension fusion =another instant VWXYZ as well.

so, for very little to no "card advantage" change you've basically said gg to your opponent. it is not hte number of cards you have but hte quality that is important.

also, more fun things for a machine deck like this.
+500 field card for lights is good in this deck. 1900
attack shining angels, the weakest VWXYZ part being an 1800, strongest is a 2300 for no tribute, even an 800 attack magician of faith! heavy mech support platform owns. union it to a machine you want to keep, it will always take the hit, evne from spells and traps! I equipped it to XYZ once then player a dark hole, i destroyed all monsters and then still kept my XYZ, it was fun. rare metalmorph! Ownage!!! Your opponent goes to snatch steal VWXYZ, you chain rare, it resolves fisrt and you can use its effect to negate snatch (thats the ruling i got from my local judge anyway), not to mention its also a 500 boost.

Machines are a valid decktype, they have enough good support, and enough variety, to make a fairly decent advanced deck, and they might get better with the next set. I run a VWXYZ deck as a "fun" deck, meaning i never use it in tournament, but i play it around town so i don't get bored with my tournament control deck.

Oh. And one last thing for everyone. I am sick of "card advantage" stuff. I truly am. I have aleady mentioned it, but it is the QUALITY OF YOUR CARDS and not the quantity that is worth it. yes, magic jammer is -1, and magic drain isn't, but they can negate the negate of magic drain easily, and if you really need to stop the spell then you hurt yourself by playing the economically savvy one as opposed to the reliable one. A real world example.... I can buy 1 of 2 cars.
Both work, however one is 3000 cheaper than the other.
I buy that one, then break down on the interstate and lose my job since i missed a meeting that was required. I am not out a car and a job, when all i had to do was buy the more expensive, but more reliable one. :)

*P.S. (remove this before placing on site please) due to an error in yahoo i had to retype this email, and the original may have gone out, however i don't have a copy of it in my outbound, so i assume it didn't. If it did go out i will allow your discretion as to which should be posted. I am proud of both. I will also understand if neither are placed becase of doubling.
Thank you for your time.
