Friends in Enemies: A Look at Enemy of Justice By
darkmagegirl
Well with the enemy of justice release coming up
fast, I thought that I should take a look in what
cards will help you out in the Sneak Preview and
which ones to potentially put in your deck later.
1. Victory Viper XX03
Effect Monster Card
Machine
LIGHT
Level 4
1200 ATK
1000 DEF
If this card destroys an opponent's monster as a
result of battle, select and activate 1 of the
following effects: + Increase the ATK of this card
by 400 points. + Destroy 1 face-up Spell or Trap
Card on the field. + Special Summon 1 "Option Token"
to your side of the field.
The "Option Token" has the same Level, Type,
Attribute, ATK, and DEF as this card.
Super Rare
Definentily use this card during the sneak preview
if you manage to pull it. It will be able to destroy
lots of those pesky "Destiny-Heroes" that everyone
will pull. This means more power boosts, and once
you hit 2000 or 2400 Atk with this thing, start
cloning it to option tokens, and use them to attack
and finish off your opponent. Otherwise, it may work
in a machine deck or a LIGHT deck but don't expect
it to see major play. However, his can kill
dekoichis and skelengels for power ups and other
weenies and so it could be used in a Chaos Control
deck, but don't count on it.
2. Majestic Mech-Ohka
Fairy
Light
Level 6
2400 ATK
1400 DEF
You can normal summon this monster without a
tribute. If you do, it is sent to the graveyard
during the end phase.
This is like a gift from god for many duelists
everywhere. First, during the sneak preview, use him
via tribute because strong field presence means way
more because it's much harder to deal with a 2400
ATK monster. In normal decks, chaos benefits the
most from this.
This of course spawns from my belief that once
monsters hit the graveyard, they haven't been used
to their full capacity. First, take out some threat
from you enemy and hopefully some LP, heck feel free
to kamikaze because he's gonna wind up in the same
place. Then of course, he's half a Chaos Sorcerer
right there. Also you can Skill Drain him if you
want to, but only in its own deck.
3. Cracking Hatchet
Trap - Continuous
Choose a face-up monster on the field to activate
this card. When this card is face-up on the field,
the attack strength of the chosen monster is
decreased by 500 during each of your Standby Phases.
When that monster is destroyed, destroy this card.
This card, being a common, has enormous potential at
the SP. Use it
to change the outcome of a battle or if your
opponent manages to get a really powerful monster
out, stall and wear it down with this.
Outside however, it may be used as tech against some
nasty cards like don zaloog and make them
susceptible to deck devastation virus, also this can
target spirit reaper, so knock yourself out. In and
Uria deck, this is practically a staple and this
could also see some play in burn. If you want to try
it out in other decks, feel free to.
That's my look at three cards with (I think) lots of
potential in this game from the new set. Any
thoughts, email me at darkmagegirl@gmail.com
