April 2007 Side Deck Ideas.... - "Chaos Angel"
Having a sidedeck in today's duels is
required. A year or two ago, most people
used a side deck as an optional thing but if
you want to win in so much as a Local
tournament now, Side Decking is required.
Exile Force is great against a Horus/Jinzo
lockdown deck.... most of those decks run
Mystic Swordsman LV 2 or Ha Des so don't
really on Night Assailant so much....
A mill Deck runs Needle Worm, Morphing Jar,
and so on. Light of intervention will
reduce there effects to nothing.... make
sure u side in Mobious, Snipe Hunter, or
Chiron the Mage incase your opponent runs
Royal Decrees to stop your Light of
Intervention.
Side in Reign, the DarkWorld Card, (also
Sillva or Goldd) if your opponent obviously
runs DarkWorld or even a handcontrol.
Use cards such as Des Wombat or even 3
Wavemotion Cannons against burn. If your
opponent likes playing Lava Golem, side in
Creature Swaps
Royal Decree and Jinzo should be in every
sidedeck. That should be self explanatory.
Just be careful because your opponent might
trick u into using those cards so u can get
yourself in trouble.
Soul Releases should be side in if your
opponent like using cards strictly from the
graveyard. The cards DD Crow and Disappear
are great for this.
Solemn Judgements and Dust Tornadoes are
also a must
or just create a sidedeck to completely
change the theme of your deck so you can
keep your opponent guessing on what to use.
I personally like going from hand control to
burn but there are many more options out
there. Anything works, just keep your
opponent quessing and always come prepared.
