Subject: Whats in a metagame - Soldier
Hello fellow duelist, I'm sure your all well aware
of the current metagame and it being overun by
extremely overused cards such as the monarchs,
cyber-stein and chimeratech. I've been at this game
since it ever started and I try not to sink so low
as to use said cards which do infact change gameplay,
I know some will disgree but only to the point
because they don't know what else to use. Trust me
on this, most the duels I've seen were lost because
of these cards and their effects, i.e. Mobius
getting rid of your defense that could have changed
the game in your favor, Zaborg destroying your
reaper that was defending your lp as well as
Granmarg though he has shot down in play since he is
"not as broken".
Anyway enough of that, I'm sure alot of duelist are
trying to come up with a
way to beat them, there is actually many solutions
including the obvious like bottomless trap hole,
torrential tribute and ring of destruction. The not
so obvious are forced back, divine wrath, solemn
judgement and skill drain. I know most of your do
not like to have to put such cards in a deck that
does not support them, but hey give a skill drain
deck a test against monarchs heh, see how satisfying
it is to render every monsters they have useless.
Forced back is actually a good trap to try out, I
myself tryed one in my deck and it itself saved me
from numerous monarchs and exiled force so
it's not really a bad card so give it a shot eh?
I've got something else up my sleeve as well but I'm
not gonna post it here due to said card players
might get ideas and try to use said card to make
their decks more broken, so
send me a e-mail or an IM I'll give you a helping
hand on discouraging these
cards from being overused again, but don't flame me
for trying to encourage good ole' dueling.
