You heard me Why. But Why what is the question. Here is the why what. Why do people call the game the rich man's game? Easy, the staples that everyone uses go up in popularity and price. Cards are so expensive tha tmy parents had to put a limit on how much i buy ( im 14 so no scary thoughts). People find that these cards work and work well. therfore the cards shoot up in price. People need to find substitutes for popular cards i'll give some examples here.

No smashing ground, try Fissure kills monster with lowest attack instead of highest defense. No card trooper? Try cyber phoenix now a common in the Zane packs it gets the extra draw from being killed in battle but it does offer protection so it is normally killed in battle. No sakurestu armor? Either buy a machine revolt deck which comes with two, or try compulsory evacuation device. return a monster instead of killing an attacking one which means your too. combos possibly?
