Trading Card Game Tips from fans

July 2007 -

The Fast and the Furious-Warrior Monsters By GeneralZorpa

Who can doubt that Warrior-type monsters are some of the most powerful in the game. They have powerful effects, decent enough ATK and THE most spell and trap support of any type. It is no wonder that cards like Destiny Heroes are getting to the top of the heap due to the reams of support for the theme.

However, there are some far more ancient warriors that are just as powerful as the Destiny Heroes. Here is a list of probably the most underrated warriors in the game.

Don Zaloog
Mataza the Zapper
Marauding Captain
Zombyra the Dark
Exiled Force

These cards used to be the basis of a warrior speed deck that took the game by storm. Utilizing these cards as well as powerful support like The Warrior Returning Alive and Reinforcement of the Army, they were able to put together massive amounts of damage in a single turn. Then the opponent would waste cards to destroy your buffed field, and you topdeck godly for the win.

I have used these cards (minus Zombyra) to build a warrior deck whose speed puts Destiny Heroes to shame.

The Wrap Up

In short this deck is supposed to be fast and deadly. Usually three monsters in a turn (Cyber Dragon, Marauding Captain, Mataza the Zapper) and Brain Control and/or Snatch Steal will mean game. For your personal use you can use Shrink instead of Enemy Controller and add in more tech cards instead of three Matazas. The choice is yours. It has good matchups against any decks with monarchs in it or control decks, but struggles a little against machines and T-Hero, because they are just as fast as this deck is. Play it and have fun.
