- Ultimate traditional
Chaos-Killing lineup of S/Ts- Hillbutton
There are two
ways to not get burned by the chaos monsters- by
stopping them from being summoned, or by
destroying them promptly after being summoned.
The ways to stop them from being summoned are, more specifically, not letting your opponent get the required monsters in the graveyard. The ways for doing this are few and far between, but they are the best way of keeping them off the field. Your bread and butter for this cause is Soul Release. This normal spell lets you remove from play up to five monsters from you or your opponent's graveyard. Your opponent can't remove monsters that are already removed. Nor can they remove monsters that aren't in their graveyard, which is where Call of the Haunted comes in. You set it and wait for the oppoenent to try and summon a Chaos monster. Then, if your opponent only has one of an attribute, you revive that attribute to your side of the field, negating the summon. For destroying them promptly after summons, you have a much larger pool of cards to choose from. Bottomless Trap Hole, Ring of Destruction, Torrential Tribute... There is also a counter trap called Divine Wrath, which activates when your opponent activates a monster effect. Discard 1 card, negate the activation, effect, and destroy the monster. When all else fails, you can use solemn Judgement to stop the summon. The checklist plays out like this: 3x Soul Release 3x Bottomless 3x Divine Wrath 2x Solemn Judgment 1x Ring of Destruction 1x Torrential Tribute 1x Call of the Haunted The rest of your S/T slots could be filled with staples, such as PoG, Graceful, and MST at your disgretion (\_/) This is bunny.
