OK, we've all seen the gadgets. they suck...for the person stuck playing against them. insane swarm, and a deck that frequently features a lot of annoying monster removal. I've been trying to find useful cards for stopping them, and a few traps that might come in handy are:

Regulation of tribe: The gadgets are machines, and conveniently enough so are the cyber dragons that get run alongside them. the cost is pretty hefty of sacrificing a monster, but thats what scapegoats are for. plus if you have a strong attachment to your monsters against a gadget deck, you've got a problem anyway

Chain Destruction: Use it to break the cycle of summonings. If they summon a yellow, activate it to destroy the other 2 yellows in their deck. they still get the green one, and when they summon that they get the red one, but when they try that, no yellows left and the circle is broken

Gravity Bind: good old-fasioned deckout. gadget decks are a swarm, constant pressure type deck. they want to come at you hard right from the start. also, their cards are based around monster removal, rather than s/t removal. a couple stall cards could hold them off for a while (unless, of course, its a gadget/monarch combo). the other fun part here is that while gadgets thin the deck quickly, they also thin the deck quickly. no im not speaking in circles. they do give card advantage, but the other side of the coin is they go through their deck quickly, so it isn't difficult to force them into a deckout with the right stall cards.
