Phoenix vs. Horus; Also new
Monarch- Wes Cano
This time,
instead of a deck, I'm going to do a card
"showdown". The cards facing each other are Sacred
Phoenix of Nephsys
(bad grammar) and the god Horus (at LV 8). The
reason these two are becoming gladiators is because
the art on them have the same feel and they are
still used today in a few meta decks.
Lets start off with Phoenix. He seems a little small
for two tributes and feels like a red eyes on
wheels. Never the less, his effect is amazing. If he
gets hit by a hammmer or lightning, he comes back.
Great if you put an axe on him. Plus, when he comes
back, he has a storm attached to him
Or there is horus. The bender of spells. He may take
a little time to get there, but once he's out,
expect hefty damage. Although he can bend spells,
traps hurt. If you put in a royal decree, its a sure
fire way to deal some life.
And the verdict is....................I will let you
chose. If you want to tell me who is better, you can
write to me at wesacano@hotmail.com. Otherwise have
a happy feel that your card is better!
A New Monarch!!
He is currently in Japan right now so lets prey it
gets here.
Name: Raiser, the wind monarch
Effect: When this card is successfully Tribute
Summoned, return 1 card on the field to the top ot
it's owner's Deck.
ATK: 2400
DEF: 1000
In my opinion, this card is alright. It can take a
big monster on your opponents field and make them
sac again. Great for getting rid of pheonix itself
without it hitting the graveyard.
Thanks!
(sorry for any bad grammar, I was up late
