Although this is not a common build of the way this
deck normally is, this is my build. The focus of
this deck is to have fun and use the Spellcaster
cards against your opponent. Of course this deck
also focuses on abusing the effect of the Magical
Dimension spell card (hence the name Magical
Dimension Deck). It truly has an awesome effect:
Tribute one of your Spellcasters on the field to
Special Summon one Spellcaster monster from your
hand, and then you get to destroy one monster on the
field. So...instant Dark Magician of Chaos/Chaos
Command Magician/Etc.
The Cards: Why they are in the deck.
Dark Magician of Chaos is a formidable foe and has a
GREAT effect. His ability to poop out of the
graveyard is a setback, but this deck is prepared
for that.
Chaos Command also has a decent effect - Grand
Moles/Exiled/D.D. Warrior Lady has no effect on him,
and he's a 2400 ATK one tribute. He's definately
underrated and if he did have any more attack power
- he wouldn't be broken, but still very strong.
D.D.M. - Different Dimension Master is also an
underrated card. He's a level 5 Spellcaster with a
pretty cool effect, but the cost of him is also
medium-high. If you are able to get out cards like
DMoC with his effect then he is well worth it. Plan
on getting him out with Magical Dimension mostly
though - otherwise he is useless, especially if
there are no monsters removed from play.
Injection Fairy Lily is the beast in this deck. Ever
since she had been released from her restriction, I
have felt the urge to abuse her awesome power. A
3400 ATK no tribute beatstick - but of course at a
hefty 2000 life point cost. I've also felt that
using Inferno Reckless Summon on her would be the
best, since she is the highest attack monster with
under 1500 ATK - if that makes any sense at all to
non-Yu-Gi-Oh! players.
Gravekeeper Spy's are basically your defense and
tribute fodder. It's a good thing that all
Gravekeeper cards are Spellcaster, too.
Skilled Dark Magician is your back-up beatstick. At
1900 ATK, they aren't as strong as they used to be,
but are one of the strongest Level 4 Spellcaster
monsters.
So at 12 Spellcaster monsters (8 Level 4 and under),
I think that it may be a low number but I think this
deck could still work well.
Giant Rat's abuse Injection/Exiled/Grand Mole.
Kuriboh is your Life Point Defense - since a lot of
it may be eaten up by Injection.
Inferno Reckless Summoning + Injection Fairy Lily =
Fun!
Different Dimension Capsule - use it when you need
certain cards. Depending on what your opponent has
left in their deck you should choose certain cards
appropriately. Most common choice would be Chaos
Command Magician - it helps put a high attack guy
out of play just in case you don't get it.
Magician's Circle - can be used when either player
attacks with a Spellcaster. Easy way to get out
Injection.
Of course a lot of other cards can be thrown into
this deck or taken out. It's personal preference
always. This is just an example build. I haven't
tested this deck because I don't have all of the
cards, but I think it would be fun. This is why we
keep playing Yu-Gi-Oh!.
Other cards considered for this deck:
Magician's Valkyria
Gravekeeper's Spear Soldier
Mirror Force
Well I hope you enjoyed reading, and I hope you try
it out!
