Toon Fix

hi
jessenator i recently got back into the
game and wanted to try something
different where the meta is monarches,
zombies, burners, etc etc. So looking
through my cards i saw that i got alot of
toons so i decided to make a toon deck.
Just wondering if you can give me some
advice or improve my toon deck to make
it competitive. many thanks. jack
Monsters-20
3 cyber dragon
3 toon summoned skull
3 toon goblin attack force
3 toon gemini elf
3 toon cannon soldier
3 toon mermaid
1 marshmellon
1 spirit reaper
Spell cards-15
3 toon world
3 toon table of content
1 fissure
1 smashing ground
1 mst
1 heavy storm
1 giant trunade
1 brain control
1 enemy controller
1 premature burial
1 scapegoat
Trap cards-7
1 magic cylinder
1 mirror force
1 call of the haunted
1 dimension wall
3 dark bribe
42-cards
Many of you
may be surprised because toon world is very hard to
run. Even though this isn't a very stable formant, I
tried my best fixing this up and gave this unique
deck some flavor.
(deck fix starters below)...
OOO toon decks, these are a little difficult to run
throughout the Metagame because they just are hard
to summon. Well, I've never played with a toon deck
before but I'm gonna try my best to help you..
1. Taking out
Unnecessary cards
I personally take out Dimension wall, Magical
Cylinder, Giant Trunade, 1 Toon Summon Skull,
Fissure and 1 Dark Bribe.
Why??
Dimension Wall:
you're not using burn deck here. so there's no need
for this card. There're just better cards to replace
this card with
Magical Cylinder:
Same reason as Dimension Wall
Giant Trunade:
Toon Monsters are about Swarming and Not get them
killed, I'd personally take this out to replace it
with something more needy
Dark Bribe:
an EXCELLENT card.. but putting 3 in the deck simply
gives the opponent TOO much advantage...
Advantage=bad
Toon Summon Skull
: 2 is just kind of overkill, want to get
your monsters summoned, not stuck in your hand
Fissure: Toon monsters attack directly right? no
need for this card, but if another monster w/ high
attack comes at you.. what do you do.. I WILL show
you
This only gives us about 7 more room to work with..
i'd better be careful
2. Adding Necessary Cards for you to WIN
As I said, toon world is a hard format to play, but
once you play it out.. There's nothing stopping you
from OTK. AND you need specific cards to help you
I would add 1 more Book of Moon, Magician of Faith,
2 Shrinks, Swords of Revealing Light,
2 Magician's Circle.
Why???
Book of Moon:
this card can be better or worse than Enemy
Controller.. By adding this card, it can controll
attacks of Monsters
Magician of Faith:
just brings back Toon World, simple and done
2 Shrinks:
one of the most over-powered card in the game in my
opinion. Any monster that runs in to this will face
its doom. Your mermaid goes up against a Raiza,
shrink and BOOM>>!
Sword of RL:
3 WHOLE turns without stronger monsters picking on
you. At the mean times.. strike back at your
opponent for a KO during the 3 turns.. This is for
offence purposes, I think it is Mandatory for you to
run this card.!!
2 MAGICIAN's CIRCLE: Another of my
favorites.. This card allows you to summon a
spellcaster with attack under 2000 when any
spellcaster attacks. This gives a swarm advantage.
Since no one actually runs strong spellcasters in
their decks.. you can command them to summon a MOF
or Breaker, ruining their precious effect..
3. Final Thoughts...
Great to think that you actually want to go against
the flow. But running Toon World is difficult.
Please email me back when you put this deck
together. Write a new list according to my
directions as you wish... then reply to me HOW I
DID!!
