Zombie Deck Changes (By:
Master Tricks)
Hey everyone, it's Master Tricks here again
an I'm here to fix up a few mistakes on my last
article about my version of the zombie deck and
its sidedeck. Here should be the correct and
better version of my Zombie Deck:
Zombie Reanimation 3.0
Monsters - 22
2 x Ryu Kokki
1 x Il Blud
1 x Vampire Lord
3 x Zombie Master
3 x Pyramid Turtle
1 x Spirit Reaper
2 x Cyber Dragon
2 x Raiza, the Storm Monarch (Mobius and Zaborg
can be replacements if you don't have these. I
know they're expensive and hard to find.)
1 x Jinzo (You may replace this card with
something else if you wish.)
1 x Breaker the Magical Warrior
1 x Snipe Hunter
1 x Card Trooper
1 x Sangan
1 x Crystal Seer
1 x Magician of Faith
Spells - 15
3 x Book of Life
2 x Creature Swap
1 x Brain Control
1 x Premature Burial
1 x Smashing Ground
1 x Fissure
1 x Shield Crush
1 x Nobleman of Crossout
1 x Mystical Space Typhoon
1 x Heavy Storm
2 x Card of Safe Return
Traps - 6
1 x Torrential Tribute
1 x Sakuretsu Armor
1 x Bottomless Trap Hole
1 x Deck Devastation Virus
1 x Call of the Haunted
1 x Dark Bribe
(Note: If you have a Mirror Force, definitely
add it to this deck. I don't include it because
so many people don't have it, including myself.)
Sidedeck:
1 x Des Wombat
1 x Dark Ruler Ha Des
1 x D.D. Warrior Lady
2 x Giant Rat
1 x D.D. Assailant
1 x Neo-Spacian Grand Mole
2 x Apprentice Magician
1 x Old Vindictive Magician
1 x Soul Exchange
1 x Lightning Vortex
2 x Dust Tornado
1 x Dark Bribe
Removed from the Deck:
Spell Striker - I figured out
that tribute fodder seems unnecessary for this
deck since it mostly special summons big guys
from the graveyard or the deck. I also had to
remove some monsters because there were too many
(Someone told me about this and I had to fix
it.)
Treeborn Frog - Had to take it
out since the deck is now playing with Card of
Safe Return in its Maindeck. Same like the Spell
Striker, Tribute Fodder is a little unnecessary
and the fact that I had to remove some monsters
from the maindeck.
Soul Exchange - We're mostly
special summoning monsters, not tribute
summoning them. This card had to go back into
the sidedeck instead.
Lightning Vortex - It's better
off in the sidedeck and if you ever run into
against a swarmer deck like Six Samurais and
Zombies, sidedeck this card definitely. I also
had to remove some spells to put in the Card of
Safe Returns.
Magic Drain - Dark Bribes and
Solemn Judgments are better options. I chose
Dark Bribe and this card had to go.
Additions to the Deck:
Card of Safe Return - I
realized that running multiple copies of this
card is a good idea since I found out that hand
control in this deck is a little bad and sloppy.
Since the deck special summons things from the
graveyard, this is a definite welcome addition
to any Zombie Deck. This card is also good for
Dark World and anything else that special
summons from the graveyard.
Dark Bribe - Much Better card
than Magic Drain as it can not only can negate a
spell, but you can also negate a trap if
necessary. You can negate a spell or trap in
exchange for a free draw for your opponent.
Pretty good card.
Additions to the sidedeck:
Giant Rat - If you need more
monsters in your deck, then sidedeck these to
search for Pyramid Turtles. This card though
does not belong in the main deck to keep a good
balance of monsters. This card sometimes slows
the pace of the Zombie Deck down a little.
Soul Exchange - It's from the
Main Deck. It is good if your opponent runs some
heavy monsters that you want to get rid of by
sacrificing it for tribute-monster in your hand.
Dark Bribe - As I said before,
it's better than Magic Drain and a slight better
than Solemn Judgment, since you don't have to
pay half your life points or not always is the
spell negated with Magic Drain or Solemn
Judgments.
That's all for now and if you have any
questions, comments (Not bad or rude ones
please), ideas including other deck ideas
(Mostly interested in reading and listening to
Rise of the Dragon Lord types of decks, not the
original, but some cards from it to make a
better deck.), Deck Fixes for me to look at and
examine, or anything like that, contact me at

good time at the Gladiator's Assault Sneak
Preview because I didn't get to go. Darn it! In
the mean time, peace!
