pwii's thoughts on side decking --pwii
Hi, this
is pwii, back again for another article. This one is
going to be on side decks.
During tournament play, in order to fight
lucksacking, the producers make the rules the best
two-of-three duels. In between those duels both the
contestants are able to trade out cards in their
main deck with cards in their side deck. The side
deck must contain exactly 15 cards. They then trade
out cards and start the next duel. There are two
types of side decks. One is where the side deck
cards trade out to change the deck completely. Two
is where duelists pack certain cards that counter
popular decks. Example:
D.D. crow
*
Dark
Winged beast
100/100
Discard this card from your hand to remove one card
in either player’s graveyard from play. This effect
can be used during either duelist’s turns.
This card wreaks havoc on zombies, perfect circle
monarchs, d-heroes, and any deck relying on the
graveyard. But you don’t know if you’re going to be
dueling a deck like that, so duelists usually side
deck it.
That being said, here are some cards you should
consider side decking:
D.D. crow
D.D. survivor
Mask of restrict
Mei-kou master of the barriers
End of Anubis
Des wombat
Kycoo the ghost destroyer
Radiant mirror force
