Just a thought - Cuicidal Zombie

Good day fellow Pojonian's. I have something to say and I hope you listen with no bias until you finish hearing me out. I hear a lot of people saying and talking about cookie cutter this and the same deck that, well as a duelist everyone should know that no matter what their is always going be people who want to win but suck at building decks. Also their will always be people who started playing with a deck before it became top tier. like myself who started playing Six Samurai only because I think Samurai's are cool and before I knew about Grandmaster I played and lost for awhile until I started getting what I needed to win, but even as I lost I didn't think what deck I was going to switch to but how I was going make this one better. Now that I have everything together and I win very consistently I am not going to switch because it has become somewhat cookie cutter or repetitive. On another note there was a post on here a short while ago which I cannot help but think was targeting my previous post "Six Samurai Deck" , saying how if you dont run every SS then it isnt SS. Well in an average SS deck Yariza is Garbage unless you run Burn/Stall, because most of the time you will be running over your opponent with Irou, Zanji, Grandmaster, and Shogun you will never need the effect to ATK directly because your opponent will not have any monsters, so why risk the dead draw when he could be an Exiled or Assailant. And even though I respect my SS deck and the monsters in it I dont want to see them lose just to make sure the set stays together. Also no matter what a deck that uses Primarily SS will be called a Six Samurai Deck just like a deck that doesnt run Granmarg is still a Monarch Deck.

I also do understand that there are people who just copy copy copy because they want to win. But they usually suck and make simple mistakes or dont even know why "Brain Control, Raiza, Frog to top of the deck" is so good and they miss out on most of the fun. I personally like thinking up new strategies and seeing my hard work pay off, even if it's just a new touch to an old deck. I am currently trying to make a Gate Guardian Deck but in this format phew, is it hard, but thus the challenge is the draw and the look on my opponents face when I say "Attack with Gate Guardian for game" will be my reward.

Finally even though every player act's so high and mighty you really want to win no matter what, if not you wouldnt be running Brain Control, Snipe Hunter, or Mirror Force just to name a few, which have become very widely used. You would build a deck that is completely original and stick with it but it is no fun to lose and I know I would definitely play Zombie or Remove or Perfect Circle if I had no other choice, but I do and its my six samurai deck even if most people say its cheap I dont care I have fun with it and that's why I play. So if you hate Meta and Cookie Cutters then start a trend, but how can you complain when you are part of the problem.

                                                                    Happy Birthday!
