They Don't Call Me
Master Tricks For Nothing...(By: Master
Tricks)
Hello fellow Pojo fan duelists and
readers! I'm back with a special article
on how to defeat the Dark Armed Dragon
Decks (DAD). Now, you are all probably
wondering why they (whoever I'm talking
about) calls me Master Tricks. Well,
that's a simple question with a pretty
simple answer. I am a master when it
comes to trickery and trickery is an
important key to deceiving and defeating
your opponent in duels.
Now you duelists are probably now
wondering what that's got to do with how
to defeat DAD decks. If you missed my
answer above because you're drunk, high
on crack, shaving your back, massaging
your grandpa's back, or whatever, then
I'll repeat it once more and stop doing
whatever you're doing (That includes
breathing. I am just kidding. Please
breath b/c it's good for you and I want
you to stay alive so I at least have
someone reading my entire article).
Trickery is an excellent and a very
deceptive way to counter against DAD
decks and make your opponent make wrong
judgments as often as possible and keep
making mistakes which will lead your
certain victory and win.
Here is a list and explanation of
cards which can succeed in fulfilling
our task to deceive and trick the
opponent:
Now, a DAD counter deck will not be
able to sustain itself if it focuses on
destroying DAD material on the field,
graveyard, hand, deck, and RFP zone. We
need to build a deck that has a high
potential ability to crush DAD decks,
but at the same time can counterattack
with your own monsters and is playable
since some decks aren't just DAD decks.
Some could be Gadgets, Six Samurais,
Macro Cosmos decks, etc. I have a
decklist for you today on what I believe
could possibly be an archrival of DAD
decks. Here it is:
The Dark Creator Deck
Monsters - 18
3 x The Dark Creator
1 x Dark Magician of Chaos
1 x Darklord Zerato
2 x Dark Nehpthys
1 x Jinzo
2 x Armageddon Knight
1 x Dark Grepher
1 x D-Hero Plasma
1 x D-Hero Dasher
1 x D-Hero Disk Commander
1 x E-Hero Stratos
1 x Snipe Hunter
1 x Sangan
1 x D.D. Crow
Spells - 18
3 x Allure of Darkness
3 x Trade-In
2 x Hand Destruction
1 x Reinforcement of the Army
1 x Monster Reborn
1 x Premature Burial
1 x Lightning Vortex (After using Waboku
or Threatening Roar, use this to destroy
your opponent's army of monsters.)
1 x Brain Control
1 x Enemy Controller
1 x Heavy Storm
1 x Mystical Space Typhoon
1 x Dimension Fusion
1 x Scapegoat
Traps - 9
2 x Return from a Different Dimension
1 x Threatening Roar
2 x Waboku
1 x Trap Dustshoot
1 x Mind Crush
1 x Torrential Tribute
1 x Mirror Force
This is the deck I will be using
at a local regionals in Charlotte, NC,
but unfortunately it is incomplete due
to the fact that I still do not possess
3 copies of Allure of Darkness and 2
more Dark Creators as well as Darklord
Zerato. The deck is not as fast and
powerful without these materials.
Hopefully I get at least 1-2 copies of
Allure of Darkness at regionals as well
as Darklord Zerato, if I'm lucky.
Purchasing them is not a smart idea for
me since I am on a budget. If any
duelist knows how much a Yugioh Card
merchant at a regional tournament would
sell Allure of Darkness, The Dark
Creator, and Darklord Zerato, please
tell me at my trickery kingdom at
pathoon@aol.com. If you need
anything else from me, such as advice,
lectures, deck fixes, and such, pleas
feel free to ask me them at my email
address I posted above. Thanks for
reading!
