I find it to be a fairly consistent setup that attacks fast and punishes your opponent for acting brashly. D D Assailant is probably hands down one of my favorite lvl 4 warriors. Great effect, decent stats. Also makes your opponent sweat a bit and maybe reconsider an attack, or act irrationally and overextend. Nasty little surprise for a large monster that decides to attack it face down as well. Kycoo and Transmigration are here for graveyard hate in a graveyard oriented meta, and the 2 crows are sided for extra graveyard hate. Lots of monster removal and one for ones as well. Captain with grandmole or don zaloog is just evil, especially if command knight is backing them. Only time i seem to suffer is when I don't draw monster removal and my opponent has overbearing monster advantage, or my opponent catches me overextending for a swift victory and vortexes my field or something along that. I have Judgment sided for a trump card against that setup and ones like it. Thinking maybe adding cold wave? Please get back to me. I haven't dueled a DaD deck or anything along that, but they would probably ravage this deck. Nevertheless, it's fun to play with something slightly original and not cookie cutter.

Hey Chris, thanks for sending in your decklist. I would like to say that everyone's decklist is "worthy" enough to make an article, and every decklist I've received so far has been published by Pojo.com. I'm just trying to help out as many people as I possibly can. Now I like the idea of the deck, one of my friends used to run a deck similar to this shortly before he quit, so I've got an idea of how this deck could work. Here are the changes to the deck that I've made:

Here's what I took out:

-1 Elemental Hero Neos Alius
-1 D.D. Assailant
-1 D.D. Warrior
-1 Command Knight
-1 Marauding Captain
-1 Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer
-1 Treeborn Frog
-1 Neo-Spacian Grand Mole
-2 Thestalos the Firestorm Monarch
-1 Swords of Revealing Light
-1 Scapegoat
-1 Fissure
-1 Smashing Ground
-1 Lightning Vortex
-1 Soul Exchange
-1 Nobleman of Crossout
-1 Magic Cylinder

Okay, quite a few cards came out, but only to make the deck more consistent. Neos Alius was a cool searchable choice, but all the power that he has in attack, he lacks in an effect. 3 Assailants, were a little overkill, but they'll still play a huge role in the deck. Marauding Captain and Command Knight are good choices, but if you draw them mid-to-late game, they hinder results by being dead draws sometimes. Kycoo and Warrior love to remove cards, but we'll have better options inthe final build. Grand mole is a cool lock, but in this meta, it's hard to pull off, and treeborn is always in danger thanks to multiple D.D. Crows being maindecked. Thestalos was replaced by the newest monarch in this deck, Swords is a good defense, but we'll have a different one for the new deck. Soul Exchange skips over a battle phase, and we need to battle. Magic Cylinder is nice, especially for some quick damage. Finally, Scapegoat can come out because we'll take a new approach to defense in this deck, and all of the monster removal cards can come out since the opponent will kill their monsters for us half of the time.

Here's what I added in:
+2 Elemental Hero Wildheart
+1 Don Zaloog
+2 Exiled Force
+1 Cyber Dragon
+2 Caius the Shadow Monarch
+2 Mobius the Frost Monarch
+1 Spirit Reaper
+2 Shrink
+3 Waboku
+1 Trap Dustshoot
+1 Mind Crush

The Wildhearts can provide some trap free beatdown, Don Zaloog offers hand control, the Exiled Forces are our new monster destruction, and they're searchable. Cyber Dragon will help in the early game, extra Caius and Mobius will remove the threats that will stop our attacks, and spirit reaper provides stall and hand control. 2 shrink and 3 waboku provide defense, and Dustshoot/Mind Crush provide hand control.

Here's the finished decklist:

Chris's Meta Toolbox

Monsters: (21)

Elemental Hero Stratos
Elemental Hero Wildheart x3
D.D. Assailant x2
D.D. Warrior Lady
Don Zaloog x2
Exiled Force x2
Cyber Dragon x2
Caius the Shadow Monarch x3
Mobius the Frost Monarch x3
Marshmallon
Spirit Reaper

Spells: (11)

Heavy Storm
Mystical Space Typhoon
Premature Burial
Reinforcement of the Army x2
Monster Reborn
Brain Control
Enemy Controller x2
Shrink x2

Traps: (8)

Mirror Force
Torrential Tribute
Waboku x3
The Transmigration Prophecy
Trap Dustshoot
Mind Crush

In order to play with this new version correctly, you must always act like this is a gadget deck. Play very conservatively, but not so much as to let your opponent gain card advantage; you'll always want card advantage with this deck. More cards = more options, and more options = victory in this deck. As for the side, just prepare it as you would normally for the meta in your area.

Well, I hope I helped you out Chris! Remember to send deck fixes/comments/questions to me, every last one will be answered!
